Qualified on both sides, on the same file.

Cross-border work goes wrong when one country is handled by someone who only really knows the other. Every file here has genuine qualification behind both halves of it.

Two specialists reviewing a cross-border position together

Two qualifications, one position

US filings are prepared by Enrolled Agents, admitted to practise before the IRS and able to represent you directly in correspondence or examination. UK filings are prepared by UK-qualified accountants who work in Self Assessment, residence and domicile every day.

The point is not the letters. It is that when a UK pension decision changes your US position, the person who understands the consequence is already on the file rather than being consulted after the fact.

A specialist working through a client file

One specialist from start to finish

You are not passed between a salesperson, a preparer and a reviewer who have never spoken. The person on your first call is the person who prepares and submits your return.

It means you never re-explain your situation, and the judgement calls made in year one are remembered in year three by the person who made them.

A working office environment

Small enough to answer the phone

We are deliberately not a volume practice. Cross-border positions need time to look at properly, and the margin on a rushed return is never worth the exposure it creates.

In practice that means fewer clients per specialist, replies within a business day, and a real conversation when something changes rather than a ticket number.
